♡ Update: New gear ♡

Okay, it's about time I come out of the cave I've been in for the past couple of weeks and explain some things to you lot of incredible people.

I'd like to thank everyone for sticking around and being patient, because I know I've been MIA for longer than what should be acceptable.
I'm sure a lot of you know and may be in the same situation, but it's now nearing the end of my first semester this school year and the work load is getting a little hectic. So I hope that explains my disappearance!
Because it's my "Winter holidays" (Note: there is no winter in Vietnam haha) I get three weeks off. One week will be fully dedicated to my studies, but the other two will be dedicated to catching up with life and my blogging! yay!

Another little exciting thing, I recently had a birthday (I'm now 15 years young yay!) and was super lucky to receive a camera from my parents. It's the gorgeous Canon EOSM. I've taken a couple of photos of my new baby, so keep scrolling if you'd like to have a little snoop of it.

Oh, and PS, I'd love to have a chat with anyone who owns one of these cameras because I'm still learning how to use it and would love to hear your tips and tricks. You can email me here: emilylockwood@ymail.

NOTE: All these photos were taken at a terrible time (nice and late at night) and with the camera on my iPad.

I'll be using two lenses to start off with. The one that comes with the camera which is a 22mm, and then a 18-55mm Image Stabiliser.

Amazing quality, pity the camera I was using to take this picture didn't capture how incredible it is haha.

ITS FREAKING TOUCH SCREEN! It has an amazing function where you can touch a certain part of the picture you're taking, and it will focus in on it, and take the picture without you pressing the button.

Sneak peak of an upcoming post.

Alright, thats it! If you can't already, I'm a little obsessed with it.

Hope you're all having a lovely day!
Lots of Love,

(I apologise if there is bad grammar, this was a very quick post and I wanted to get it up asap)

  1. What is the video filming quality of the camera? Also I love your Christmas/winter theme!

    1. It's 18 megapixels, so it's definitely up there in terms of quality. I haven't used it in a "sit down" video yet but I've played around with the filming so far and have found it to be quite good.

      And thank you! xoxo
