Patterened Crop // S T Y L E T A L K #2

Hello everyone! I hope you're well,

Today's post is another installment into a series I want to be more consistent with, and that is "A pairing". My last pairing post was with a black crop top, and unintentionally, I have yet another crop top to style today. You can find my last pairing post here.

The top I've chosen is a gorgeous, white palm tree patterned crop by a brand I'm not familiar with. You can find it here.
Just like my last post, this styling is not specifically for this exact top, but applies to all pattered crops.

Crop tops and winter don't tend to go together, and its not surprise considering the amount of skin you're baring when wearing a crop top. But I think it's fun, and I've found myself wearing crop tops during this cold Aussie winter. All you need is some high waisted pants and a cover-up.

Faux fur is proving to be a rather large trend this season, and I'm loving it. So I chose a big, black, fluffy one to go with this outfit.
Because of the puffiness of the coat, you want to keep everything else form-fitting. I chose a pair of dark grey, high waisted skinny jeans.
To elongate the legs further, wearing bulky, platform shoes is the way to go. This particular shape is also another trend that seems to be a big hit. You can find these gorgeous shoes on Nasty Gal.
I kept the accessories minimalistic and plain. A simple, grey celine bag, a pair of rounded black sunnies and a big, felt floppy hat seemed to do the trick.

As for the makeup department, I would wear a daring, bold lip and keep everything else simple.

Summer and crop tops go together like strawberries and nutella. I decided to casual this outfit down a little with a pair of dungarees, a flower crown, and some chunky, white heels from Jeffrey Campbell.
To add a little bit of glam, I picked out a white leather backpack and a pair of fun sunnies to go with.

A pretty pastel nail varnish is what I'd chose to wear with this fun, summertime look.

That's it for today's posting! Comment below with is your favourite outfit, or tell me what you'd wear with this crop top.

Lots of love,
