Lily & Minx // R E V I E W & S T Y L I N G

Hello Everyone!

Not too long ago, I was sent a gorgeous jumper by the lovely people over at Lily and Minx, and have been nothing but delighted with the jumper itself, and the experience of receiving it.

NOTE: Placing your order before 1pm (EST) means that your item/s will be shipped out that day, and you're order is expected to arrive within 1-3 days.

The jumper is 100% cotton and feels uber soft to wear. I'm currently experiencing a rather chilly Australian winter, and have found this jumper to be a lovely addition to my wardrobe. It's definitely not amongst the pile of jumpers I have that a purely for fashion (Not saying this jumper isn't fashionable, of course). Not only is it all of these qualities, it's also very versatile in the styling department.

My lovely friend and I took our gear down to a beautiful park to shoot the three outfits we put together to prove just this.

TOMBOY CHIC

Boyfriend jeans from: Rosebullet

For the first look, we paired the jumper with these boyfriend jeans, a long necklace, and a pair of heels.

Great for those who want to throw together an effortless look for a day out shopping. The cuffed, ripped jeans help to give off a casual vibe, and the heels, cropped jumped and necklace makes it that bit more dressier and appropriate for "public wear". The necklace with this look is great because it elongates the torso and works awesomely with the cropped jumper as well as making the look that little more feminine!

A milkmaid braid seemed most appropriate for this look, as well as a pop of colour on the lips to soften up the outfit.

Elegant Minimalism

For the second look we styled the jumper with a pair of high waisted black skinny jeans from Jay Jays, the same heels from the previous look, and a floppy, black, felt hat from Sportsgirl. I opted for loose curls and a nude lipstick for this look to keep fresh and casual. Perfect for a day in the park, a picnic or shopping with your friends.

For the last styling, we styled a rider skirt with the jumper, and the same milkmaid braids and lipstick from the first look. This look is lovely and sophisticated, and perfect for the warmer months.

To make this look a little more different and fun I opted out the longer necklace for a shorter, stacked necklace, and a messy high pony.

Necklace: Sportsgirl

A very special thank you to...

Bella for taking these amazing photos and helping out with styling the jumper. She's the cool chick in the photo above.

Steve for organising the whole thing, and making the process quick and easy. It was fun to work with you!
