♡ Weekly wishes #8 ♡

I'm sure you've all seen this infamous "Parental Advisory" jumper somewhere. Whether it be in the form of a knock-off in stores or online from pictures of Alexander Wang's fashion show. I love this jumper and how quirky it is. And considering that it's Alexander Wang, I'm sure it would be uber comfy also. But it looks like I'm going to have to settle for the knock-offs because this baby is a mere $1535. Yikes

I think the way to go this winter is it stray from the conventional black leather jacket and adopt a new hue. I've been eyeing some white leather jackets around shops lately and think that they might be a new favourite jacket. I spotted one in Topshop the other day, but couldn't find it on the program I use to create my weekly wishes (Polyvore), so I settled for this one from Gap.

Another little item that I always groan as I pass on my way out of stores is a denim jacket. The last time I owned one was when I was six and I don't know why I still haven't gotten around to purchasing one again.

I know this top might seem pretty plain and boring to a lot of you and not worthy of being on a wish list, but I find these styles of tops quite the basics. A loose flowy stroppy top can be quite versatile throughout the year. I think it'd be quite nice in the upcoming winter paired with some bold jewellery items, a pair of jeans and a nice jacket.

Weekly Wishes #6
I'm going to kick-start my weekly wishes with an item I've been wanting for a while. This gorgeous dress (However, I'd prefer to wear it over some leggings) from Free People. I love everything about it, the frill trimmings, the cutouts, the length and the "flowy factor". kyeowt (ki-yow-t, variation of "cute")
I don't think it'd be right of me to do a weekly wish post in Autumn without one of these babies. The infamous cable knit sweater, the symbol of fall fashion. It looks comfy, and pretty, something every girl wants in an item of clothing.
I love the colour of these shorts. Paired with a white or black singlet and hey presto, you have yourself a casual yet cute outfit.
Olive jeans are one of my "Autumn staples".
(Yes, I know I come from Australia and it is currently Spring there, but I'm living in Vietnam where the weather isn't seasonal, and am missing the cold, so yes, I'm going to obsess over Autumn and Winter even if I'm not in it)
I love lace shorts, and these ones from Forever New are very pretty and definitely a pair I'm going to consider buying.
This palette caters to my every need: a shade for brows, the crease, inner corner and brow bone highlighting and a neutral colour for the lid.

b.) I suck at winged eyeliner so I'm going to need all the help I can get.
One. Direction. Perfume. nuff said. Despite the bottle looking slightly tacky for my liking, I've heard some great reviews on the fragrance, so I'm eager to give it a go.
Okay okay, yes I was drawn to the bottle, but again, another product I've heard some good reviews on.
Rituals seems to be working up quite the hype amongst the beauty community. I've been surfing their site, and this scrub caught my eye.

Weekly wishes

One thing I love to do? Just browse through topshop. Whether it be online or in stores, I love to look through all of their things. This weeks picks include a cropped top and a maxi skirt; two things I don't think I would ever consider buying.
For starters, I'm not a huge fan of mid-drift baring tops. Don't get me wrong, on other people they are lovely, but I don't like wearing them, myself. This one however, caught my eye. I really love the cutouts. I'm sure this would be one of those pieces that would do an awesome job at framing your body nicely.
I also think that the top would go quite nicely with the maxi skirt. I would consider buying both the items together, even.
I'm not a huge fan of maxi skirts on myself either, as I feel tall enough already and don't want to accentuate that further. But it was the colour and shape of this skirt that got me.

I swatched this particular one in the Singapore airport and boy do I wish I just caved in and bought it. It's a beautiful colour that is highly pigmented, and offers a little moisture. Very nice, and a must-have for my everyday makeup routine.
