♡ Liebster Awards ♡

♡♡ Hello Everyone! ♡♡

I was ever so kindly nominated by two great blogs, Kate of Lets Talk Transplants!  and Laura of Ray of Glitter  for the Liebster Awards.

Essentially, the idea is that when you are nominated, you must answer the questions the blogger who has nominated you has asked, then, you will nominate 11 people of your own, and ask 11 questions for them!

Here's the Liebster Award rules:

You must link back to the person that nominated you.

You must answer the 11 Liebster questions given to you by the nominee before you.

You must pick 11 bloggers to be nominated for the award with under 200 followers.

You must come up with 11 questions for your nominees to answer.

You must go to their blogs and notify your nominees

So as I have been nominated by two lovely blogs, I have to answer a total of 22 questions. I'm not entirely sure If I'm supposed to do this, but here we go anyway...

Kate's questions

1.What made you start writing your blog?

Really, it was the inspiration I got from reading others blogs. There were people who made me step out of my comfort zone to do so however. They include Zoe of Zoella and some of my closest friends.
It only seemed fit that I should be turning my passion into a hobby, and then Daisy Locks was born!

2.What is your proudest moment to date?
As I have had a lot of proud moments, I'm going to limit this answer to a proud blogging moment. And as lame as it seems, it was when I hit 1000 pageviews. Another proud moment for myself was when I finally made a video and uploaded it on my youtube. 

3.Your Favourite AW13 Trend?
I'm a sucker for pastel, so I really can't answer any other way. I loved the winter pastel colours showcased from the many AW13 trends.

4.What's your Favourite thing about winter?
I looooove Winter, it's actually my favourite month. So answering this question will be hard for me as it seems nearly impossible to pinpoint only one of my many favourite things about winter. I love how cosy it is, and that you can wear big, comfy sweaters and walk around your house in the softest trackpants you own. I also love winter fashion, because its so easy to change it up with either another pair of jeans or a cool jacket. And of course, the hot chocolate.

5.Favourite High street fashion brand?
Topshop, I love its range and all of the trends they adopt.
6. Favourite Make Up Product?
I love mascara due to how it really does finish off a makeup look. My current favourite mascara is an oldie but a goldie, and it is the Maybelline "The Falsies" in the waterproof formula. 

7. What is one of the summer trends you wish you'd tryed this year?
The  "Low sleeve hole" shirt or skater skirts.

8.Favourite Disney Charecter/Film?
My favourite Disney character is Ariel and my favourite movie is The Princess Diaries

9.What do you want to achieve from your blog in the long term?
I would love to be able to build up my blog and reader count as well as my youtube, and attend beauty blogger events. 

10.What is one career you would like to try for the day?
This is cliche, but I would love to be a makeup artist for the day.

11. Straight Or Curly Hair? 
This is only because my hair is naturally curly and insanely frizzy, so I'm going with straight hair because it's my go-to hairstyle.

Laura's Questions

1. What's your favourite scent ?

Oh Lola! or Daisy by Marc Jacobs perfume wise, and the smell of rain.

2. How would you describe your style?

Casual and girly.

3. If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?

England and Bora Bora

4. Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

Living in England and in University.

5. How would you describe yourself?

Talkative and obsessive 

6. What are you most passionate about?

Blogging, Youtube and Beauty

7. What's your favourite item?

I'm assuming this is regarding makeup, so I'm going to go with an answer I used above: Maybelline "The Falsies" in the waterproof formula.

8. What's your favourite shop?

oooooh, hard one. I'm going to go with Target.

9. If you were an animal what would you be and why?

A cat because I can sleep all day, and when my owners are out I can watch TV and use up their internet. Plus, I love cats.
