♡ My week in photos #2 ♡

♡ Hello Everyone ♡

I hope you had a lovely week, mine certainly was great fun! And just like last week, I've tried to take as many pictures of my week as I could...however I did unfortunately forget to bring my camera to the trips I made down to the beach.

TOP ROW

I took a trip into the city to check out what GOMA (Gallery of Modern Art) had to offer. The exhibition was named "Falling Back To Earth" and was created by Cia Guo-Qiang and was "inspired by the landscapes of southeast Queensland".
Every trip to GOMA never ceases to amaze and inspire me. Every exhibit is always so eye catching and interesting.
Even though this time around, there were only three exhibits (One of them was a eucalyptus tree which wasn't too exciting for the Aussies...) each was breath taking and incredible.

My favourite of the three exhibitions featured at GOMA was probably the waterhole (top two pictures on the left). It was hard to believe that these animals were not real!
My second favourite was this one, where wolves are leaping into the air then falling back down to the ground which was quite a cool concept.

Anyone in the Brisbane area, if you haven't checked out this exhibit yet I do recommend it, however keep in mind it is around $15 for entry to see three exhibits, so don't plan spending four hours in there.

SECOND ROW (L-R)

After GOMA the friends we went to the gallery with took us to the park, with a quick drop into maccas beforehand. It was lovely to just sit and relax for a bit and admire what was around us.

We then headed down to Gold Coast the day after to stay with my Aunty, Uncle and cousin (the one in the middle picture). We spent a lot of our time there just chilling, baby sitting my cousin and heading either down to the beach or the pool. We were blessed with gorgeous weather for most of our stay.

I did a little shopping (mostly window) whilst I was there, and jumped onto the band-wagon and picked up a pair of jellies for myself. I'm still in the process of deciding whether or not I'm in on this trend, but I must admit they are fun to wear and pretty comfortable (why did we ever stop wearing them as children?).

THIRD ROW (L-R)

The only change of scenery we got from the GC was a trip up to the city to collect my dad. As you can imagine, it was a bit of a drive so a lot of this "trip" was spent listening to the Queen, Lana Del Rey.

and...

well being bored = weird selfies. I don't know why...don't ask.
The last picture shown in that strip is a nice up-close and personal photo of a weird burn/bruise I grew on my nose if you're wondering.

I hope you had a great week!

Lots of love,

    1. Thank you! It's quite fun to do, and a lot less time consuming than what it is to vlog! xoxo
